Bicolor Monkshood

This lovely is enjoying its third year in this spot. I moved it after to the new garden in full bloom as it will go late summer right into the first snow. I just love the rim of dark blue on these blooms, really something up close.

Thank you both. I just love it, a nice variant as we have wild aconitum dephinifolium here too. I get away with part sun, about 8 hours here as we have such gentle slanted sunlight in Alaska. Usually it is rather sun shy, more a shade plant, it should love the long dappled light of the new garden. :-)
