Alocasia

They remind so much of when I was a kid. We always had so many in the yard. I think this one is Alocasia macrorrhiza.

I have several Alocasia species, varieties. The bugs love to eat the tubers, though.

I just noticed the impressive Ficus benjamina in the background. :>)

Delonix, tons of these ficus trees here probably as much as in San Diego

That's funny! I just posted a photo of some large Ficus benjamina at the Paradise Point Resort here in San Diego today.

Yes, Ficus benjamina has been in cultivation for a long time. I know some of the trees here in San Diego must be close to 100 years old (possibly older). Some Ficus trees can live for thousands of years.
