Pandanus ultilis - Screw Pine; Dypsis lutescens - Butterfly Palm

These trees are growing happily at the Catamaran Resort in San Diego, CA. Photo taken Feb. 23, 2013.

Pandanus utilis is another I've wanted to try. There's a more cold hardy mountain form sold...its nice,but not as nice as the Screw pine.

This is the small one at the Catamaran. There's another which is much larger.
