There are so many palms around, I do not know how you can identify them so easily. They look so similar to me :-)

I belonged to the International Palm Society since 1984. I have a tremendous knowledge of palms. I have more than 100 species of palms in my yard.

How big is your property Delonix?

The back yard is relatively small...the front yard is bigger. I'm surprised I've been able to get as many plants as I do into the yards.

Yes, or private botanical gardens. That's what most neighbor's said when I first moved in...and it felt like I was moving a botanical garden.

The Queen Palms (Syagrus romanzoffiana) are flowering here, also. There's almost 100 year old trees in Balboa Park which are over 90ft (27m) tall. It's the most widely grown feather palm in San Diego.
