My Tropical Blue Sage is in full bloom. The hummingbird which had nested in my tropical guava tree has been eating the sweet sap from this plant. Photo taken Feb. 26, 2013.

Yes, it's described as bright gentian blue, which is unusual for the deep tropics, where it's native (South India, Sri Lanka).

Thanks! :>) It's going into the ground in a week or so. It has outgrown its 15 gallon sized pot.

How large will it get?

It will grow 6 - 8 ft tall. The tallest one I've ever seen was at Quail Botanical Gardens, it was a little more than 6ft tall.

That will look good!

Yes, I have the perfect spot in the front yard. It's where my spotted croton is growing. My croton burns when the Jacaranda tree looses its leaves.
