This is (was) my favourite place in the mountains. Many many years....but yes, you are right, this place wasn´t painted, but it was the main stage of a Slovak cult film "Copper Tower" about love of two men mountaineers to one woman.

Wow didn't. Know that, it looks so peaceful and relaxing.

It can change in a minute. From peaceful to life threatening. Weather is changing here very quickly.

That's nature for us :-)

Looks really beautiful

Since 1988 I have had such a ritual, Sticki: I invite for a trip there my best friends. But three of them died and one never has had will and mood to climb there. So I must join now foreign people.There are living colonies of marmots, Sticki :)) It has given a name to one of those peaks "Big Marmot Peak" and "Small Marmot Peak".

i have seen wild marmots in the italian dolomites, very cute!
