This is the same tree I posted yesterday out of bloom at the Paradise Point Resort. This Photo taken Oct. 29, 2010.

Yes, it's a tree. lol! I have probably a hundred photos of this tree posted on GoY. I also have one growing in my yard.
This tree can grow to 50ft (16m) tall here in San Diego; however, in the true wet tropics it can grow to 80ft (24m) tall.

These trees also seem to have a nice shape, we have one on the plaza which looks exactly like this.... still blooming. I agree with Sticki ...very photogenic trees.

I do love the shape, some have a very tall upright habit, though. There's many of this tree around San Diego.
My tree is loaded with buds right now...it should be blooming by next month, I'm guessing. I have seen this tree in full bloom every month of the year here in San Diego. Each tree is on their own cycle.
