At the rate this weather is going the only thing that's going to thrive are the unwanted plants.
Having said that, some 'weeds' are stunning in their own rights.
Nettle tea or salad & lets not forget blackberry pie.
S'cuse me, while I go & feed my face, Sandra...LOL!

cant beat a bit of free food. i like nettle tea..but i keep meaning to try a few other weeds from my garden.

Nasturtiums...peppery & only very slightly bitter.
Same with daffs & amaranthus. Good flavours & colours for salads.
Add poppy, sunflower & nigela seeds & presto.
Now all we need is a moneytree. Lol.

Dd2....march was not kind to these babies...i think they are still hanging on though...

That is why ours are all inside, driving me mad now, I want them in the garden, so we can have our room back lol
