My Norfolk Island Palm has gotten very tall over the last couple of years. It was very small when it was planted 5 years ago. It's very apropo the branches of the very large Norfolk Island Pine (Araucaria heterophylla) is in the same pic. Photo taken March 19, 2013.

How large ? Pictures don't always show how big trees actually are

It's about 12ft (4m) tall. It's only just starting to trunk, though. This palm can grow 50ft (16m) tall. It takes a very long time, though.
