I have started giving last years crop seedling numbers, and of course, my number one favourite TET is T001, aka, Amethyst Reflections x Unk. I kept all 11 seedlings, and this was the first of them to open last year and the first to open this year. There are 2 scapes an this plant and you can see, several buds. After 2 years of opening this quickly, I will be calling its season as Early Early.

I hope so - todays count of flower scapes on unbloomed seedlings is 40.

So nice! I've missed your pictures and I'm glad your spring arrived, how was your winter?

Although it has been wetter than usual, I'm glad I'm not in the UK right now with the snow. I was finally able to give my new seedling beds a finally plow, and planting has started! This is also why I am able to get a few blooms the first year. If I wait too long, it takes an extra year for the first flowers. I can see this in the sdlgs that were the last to go into the ground last year.
