Rose petals are eatable, the white ones are the best.
There is a small town close to ours called Sapiranga (the city of the roses) where you can taste rose ice cream... :)

What a wonderful sounding town! I would visit that if I lived nearer. We have rose water which I like but it's probably only added to milk puddings and flavored icing, ice cream sounds really brilliant!
