Galanthus (Snowdrop) : Lady Elphinstone (Galanthus nivalis (Common snowdrop))

a.k.a yellow version of nivalis flore pleno - the colour is rather lime-green this year but I hope it will be much "yellower" next year.....

it looks very special to me, the outer petals seem to have a lemon yellow colour? and then greener in the middle?

I've read before that if the variety was dug and replanted, it would tend to flower much greener in the next season - but I'm not sure.....but yes, the outer petals are definitely yellow.....
