large glazed black pot at front of house...

..used to house Phormium, but now they are at the Walled Garden. There are two of them, now planted up with little lemon violas, narcissus 'Minnow', Tulip 'Monte Carlo' and Doronicum for the lovely yellow daisies.

Doesen't the black pot set the plants off beautifully? I have some black pots and the plants allways look good in them, I have bulbs in them and there coming through now, i just can't remember what bulbs tho lol.

That's a lovely colour combination, Karen ... I found a tiny piece of Doronicum 'Little Leo' which I divided up in the Autumn ... one brave little flower on it ... :o)

Excellent combo, my kind of planting and I love the black pot, youngest daughter bought me 2 small black and yellow for Mothering Sunday, looking forward to planting them up.....

Thanks! I'll dress them with some of the grey stone gravel when it stops raining. The black works well at the front, it is quite smart.
