It has been a few years in the making Paul, but I am happy when I am in the garden. Think we all are really, everyone on here seems to be happiest when out working with the plants and the soil. It is very therapeutic getting my hands mucky. lol :O)

oh yes - I have never been as happy since gardening - I hated the nightclub life when I was younger - gardening is so more rewarding

Good decision Paul! Mum, my grass grew about an inch today! You could clearly see where the new green growth was over the old stuff. I will have to mow it soon!

same here Karen everything is shooting up really quickly hopefully not the weeds though. :O)

Best way to go Paul, though think it might be just as expensive tripping out to the g.c. and buying plants as going for a pint or two. lol :O) much healthier life style though. lol :O)

Yes, about the same....they do say a night out...£70 at least!

oh yes I spent a lot - sadly 2 bottles of red wine saturday and sundays lol and more , glad I am purified now. Spend the same but on a lot better things

Not very often I touch it I am like you Paul much prefer to spend my money on something which pleases me more. ie. my garden. lol :O)

It's clear spring has finally arrived in your garden Olive. I think our grass will need its first cut next week. Isn't it great to finally get out there and get mucky? As for the vino collapso.. much rather spend my money on stuff for the garden any day, the pleasure lasts much longer and isn't as harmful to body...or pocket!

thanks Waddy, yes I agree, had to cut my grass today, only did part of it and tidied up the edges more to do in the week. Only doing a little at a time as knees still sore.
