PH - it's seven years old now, but it had a tough baptism as the local snails took a liking to it. It's done much better since I protected it with a copper ring around the base

Not had any trouble with snails but I did lose my previous one in the hard winter 2 years ago. A grower in Italy has promised me a red one when I go over in the summer, can't wait sun and plants! :o)))

The Japanese also have a variegated one I believe, but it hasn't made it's way to Britain yet
