unusual leaves for a Juliana wonder what it was crossed with

So it wasn't just me thinking the leaves were unusual, compared to the others I've seen on Goy?
Have you been superglue hybriding, Scottish? LOL!

Kevock describe it "***is not a name that we can find in any official document, but it appears to be one of the juliana hybrids (formally Primula x pruhoniciana)" i found it on this link. Maybe you can translate for us.

That's all I could find too Sheila! I fell for the delicate pink of the flowers :) Had a better look at it today and decided that the foliage is rather scruffy, almost dandelion like. Maybe I've bought a weed ;-)

Have had a look at the jelitto site not much the wiser as to cultivation so took it further which does make sense
Primula × pruhoniciana

Hybrids involving P. juliae and P. vulgaris. Most are plants for the open garden rather than the rock garden, but some are small and neat and all are colourful. The well known 'Wanda' with its purple flowers belongs here as do the pinky-mauve 'Kinlough Beauty' and the yellow 'Lady Greer'. Many more are commercially available.
My comment, Juliae is a very dainty species primrose that is not always that easy to grow it moves each year by undergound stolons this can be seen in 'Lady Greer'which although a hybrid does the same thing but being a hybrid is easier to grow.

Thanks Angie. I feel once my interest is aroused I just have to have an answer. I did what Bjs did Primula × pruhoniciana and what he has copied is what I could not do so thank you Bjs for that, also for your comments on the way this one grows.
