They are every where Mouldy, just keep an eye out for them you can't miss them they are bright red..

Used to call boots that, when I was a kid...we all did...beetlecrushers. Lol.
Wonder where that came from?
Probably some gardening dad & it just got passed on.

Mouldy Lily beetles are not so common up here. If you Google image you can see what they look like. There is another insect that is red in colour that looks quite similar but it's a friend. See this question I asked a while ago
