Wow, I wonder if mine will be so beautiful one day.
Or maybe not as big ...it would outgrow the space where it is now. Would you know how old this one is? Thanks for posting. Love the picture, love the plant.

I would think it would be one day. It's a fast growing shrub/tree.
This shrub is probably more than twenty years old. It's only a little taller than 6ft(2m) tall (it's small). I cut it back frequently. I'll have to get some pics of the big tree-sized ones before they stop blooming.

I will have to cut it occasionally too then... but I do not think that there are such good growing conditions for it here like in San Diego. It is still cold and rainy here right now. We need little more sun and less rain .

Yes, I've read it still rainy up there. It should grow pretty well up there, as you get more rain. The shrubs/trees here almost never get any water. My Indian Hawthorn lives on rainwater alone.
