I have been growing this Colchicum for a few years now. It's very cute, only growing a couple of inches tall in Autumn. The leaves continue to grow after flowering, ending up being about 6 inches long by the Spring. I grow it in pots because if it were in the ground I would be worried that other plants would grow over it and I'd never see it!

I also grow colchicums They leaves now(in spring) dominate the flowerbed and some of the other plants are smothered by them.
This is a link to my personal webpage to see colchicums I grow. I do not think I got this one , it is cute.
