Oh dear, sorry to hear that, Andy. Mine are finally almost back to their previous glory, before Cyclone Yasi. They're almost as tall now, just not as dense yet.

I don't think my plant likes being in a pot. I rarely see them growing in pots. This Hibiscus appears to grow extremely fast when grown in the ground.

Yes I think you're right there, Andy. I've never seen one growing in a pot around here either.

Yes, I known most Hibiscus species don't do very well in pots. I've tried in the past and they all end up dying. Luckily, Hibiscus species are extremely common and cheap here. They are available at every nursery. The next one will go directly into the ground, somewhere. LOL! (I'm running out of ground planting space).
