Yes Wylie at last :-) it has been a bit of a cold wind today but fairly sunny so it hasn't stopped me getting in the garden.
I got some seed for a white one last autumn and sowed them in the unheated greenhouse no sign of life yet, probably me being impatient again lol, think I remember reading they take a while to germinate, they would look good in your wood these are planted near the entrance to mine :-)

You haven't any of the horrible slugs we have been warned about have you Kathy , apparently they are eating whole crops in fields and gardens they even eat small dead animals , I took a pot out of a chimney pot this morning to replant it and there were some huge slugs in the bottom I don't know if they are the killer spanish slugs or not they advise you to put them in a bucket with salt water ,that was a job for OH !!!

Uuurgh I haven't heard about them Amy sound pretty nasty I'll have my salt bucket at the ready :-), haven't seen many slugs this year yet except in the compost bin some pretty big ones in there, mind you we've not had much rain here.

It looks like spring is finally coming to you, but I see that it is supposed to still be a little chilly. I had thought of growing these (from seed), and I still might - it would look good in my woods.
