My new rockery bed!

Hey Pam - your alpine bed has a passing resemblance to mine. Great minds think alike :-)

I am very new to this rockery thing, I hope it all survives! :))

Well that depends on what you have planted of course.
Alpines require sun and well-drained soil, and many require protection from winter wet. They can take the cold, but do not like being waterlogged as well. I place panes of glass, stood on bricks, over them for winter protection, and they are quite happy

It looks very nice Pam I have a couple of old sinks , thanks for the tip about covering them with glass for winter protection Andrew thats something I've never done and had noticed how wet the soil was when I changed a plant a while ago ...
