Red Robin Skeleton!

My ten year old Photinia was decimated by a fungal disease and all but defoliated! It still had new red tips coming so it isn't dead. After seeking advice on this site I have given it a good 'pollarding', hopefully it will come back to it's previous beauty. If not? then I'll have to get rid of the 'skeleton'.
