Ahh Shirley, snugs & snails love Lupins, dont they?....I put grit, egg shells, a few pellets in too....Diffficult plants to protect.....

After a light rain shower at 6ish last night, I went out on slug and snail patrol and found many of them climbing up the foliage of Tulips and Dafffs ... the critters now live in the brown bin!

Lovely ... I planted some Russell Lupins from a GW magazine offer last year ... I think the slugs and snails feasted on them ... no sign of growth this year ... :o(
