DD - no, it's a short-lived perennial from South Africa. Life span about four or five yeas I think - I suddenly notice I haven't got it any more and have to get another. No more than a foot tall by two feet across. Needs sharp drainage but not dry soil, plus full sun. I like the contrast of the white flowers with red on the back

I love this plant...I grew it from seed last year but it didnt flower, kept it the greenhouse durng Winter and i noticed today it has buds on....:>)
