I think the softer colour of this makes a lovely background to many colours and the leaves are more elongated than those on the other two.

I don't really do much to it Sheila, my soil is on the acid side and I do give a feed once or twice a year, whatever's to hand really. Blood fish and bone or any old feed, I certainly don't spoil it. I've had it rather along time though:-))

Perhaps mine doesn't like our alkaline/neutral soil, or being in shade . . . it was here when we moved in, and it took YEARS before I could identify it (even Wisley couldn't tell me!!).

Mine has sun Sheila, have you tried taking cuttings? I may give it a go this year. How odd that Wisley couldn't identify it, it wasn't so uncommon when I bought it, but called Stransvaesia, only quite recently re-categorised as Photinia:-)
