Hi shahida did you have it in a pot as I have read that maples usually do better in a pot for about 5 years and then to put them in the ground, I think they do like slightly acid soil too or John Innes No 3:)

I kept it in the pot first and then put in the soil. Dug 2feet and put the right soil but still not growing but looks healthy.

yes i also meant to say that the leaves look lovely :)
