Another new Hosta, this one is a medium sized hosta growing to about 20 inches in height. Leaves have large dark green centers with very wide creamy yellow margins. The Leaves have a heavy substance and offer superb resistance to those pesky garden critters - slugs.
Plants produce purple flowers on 30 inch scapes in midsummer.

I keep finding big snails, which is interesting as my soil is neutral here and in Dundee I NEVER saw a snail, as they need lime to make their shells...I only saw slugs...anyway..no damage so far!

I'll believe that when I see it Karen......ha ha ..a Hosta that has resistance to slugs.I know, I'm an old cynic!
Let's hope it is, then I'll definitely go out and get one! I don't think I have this one although I've bought two collections over the years so I'll have to check my labels !
