My clematis climing over a old dead cordyline trunk.
It might be montana or rubens so i tihnk this one will called ruben montana..from now on lol

Sound like a good idea :o)) Your Clem will cover that trunk beautifully another year I've put one up against an old dead tree but it's not making much headway yet ! my cordyline shot out new growth around the trunk pre the frosts the frost then turned them black ,we had to finally take the lot out as the base of the trunk had rotted off :o(
