I bought 12 new Salvias, as plugs from Hayloft. I can't recommend their plug plants highly enough..they are strong and very healthy, and it's a really economic way to buy. The collection of 12 was just over £20 if I remember rightly. This one plant is now for sale at £10! So it's definitely the way to go if you have a greenhouse.

Great news Karen - it's a beauty :) Do you know if Hayloft are better than they used to be? ('cos Spritzhenry once warned me not to use them!). This year I bought from Sarah Raven for the first time, mainly because they had my fave Verbena 'Sissinghurst Pink', 10 plugs for £10.95, but they're not in flower yet.

I don't know Sheila. All my experiences with them have been positive so far. They did send me an incorrect package, but it was replaced immediately and no return requested for the wrong one, so I definitely wouldn't complain about that. All the plugs I've purchased there have been extremely strong, healthy plants.

A good price there, I do think Hayloft have improved, used to buy from them years ago, then they went off!! so good to know they are back on track.
