Rhododendron loderi 'King George'AGM

This is a very special rhododendron and very large. Probably not suitable for small gardens. It bloomed ones four years ago and this year blooms again. The big western red cedar above it is blocking the sun completely.
I tried to propagate it with no luck.

Hi Katarina. I do propagate other rhododendrons with some success but not "Loderi" type. I think they need to be grafted, but I will take any advice I can get, for sure.
This is not readily available rhododendron here....maybe because it is difficult to propagate from cutting? Just a thought.

Lily-like flowers are scented. Opening in tall trusses from bright pink buds to almost white.
