This is where the ugly green caterpillar turned into the slightly less ugly moth

If I remember right it lays about 4 eggs. Once they emerge they don't live very long and the females lay eggs a few days after emerging, whether they have mated or not.

Thanks for keeping the photos we have the full life cycle now.Well nearly we haven't seen the eggs wonder how many it lays.
