Sorry Phil this is such a miniature I am having difficulty getting a decent shot of it. i just googled it and now realise the flowers are not properly open.

You are spot on Bjs. Common name of this is dwarf hardy Gloxinia. It should look a lot better when the flower stem takes off. This is only its second year so will be flowering for the first time.

Just posted another showing the flower open. Its gorgeous and only 4" high.
