Lovely sunshine! I definitely think this is not only the prettiest, but also the toughest Photinia!

I really hope it does well here as this has been a tricky spot to plant. With the big tree cut back it should stand a good chance :o)

Admittedly I removed two of my four this spring. They never got going because the spots they were in were too dry, but the two I have left are both flourishing. Yours looks to be in a suitably moist spot...if not, you'll just need to water.

It was a priceless moment, but the hair is now back on the head...it looked like he had a pineapple plant on his head! Lol...simple things!

Karen do you think Photinia Pink Marble needs a damp spot, ours is growing under a large Silver Birch and I wonder if it is too dry ?

Well, the two I had to remove because they were horrible were under trees Angela, and the two that are thriving have a lot less competition for water. I suppose when you think about it, most shrubs need a lot of water to get established, and I am a bit lazy on watering in new things!
