I have one of these for many years. Two years ago it died to ground level but has now regrownwell with a few flowers this year. Should be back to itself next year.

I'm pleased yours survived, mine also suffered in that winter but not as severely as yours, hopefully you'll have lots of flowers next year. :o)

It was not frost in this case, but akin to something I have seen in other Ribes, almost like Clematis wilt. Odd.
