I think these were one of my self-seeded plants.

fantastic, i think lupins are suppose to come up every year but mine never do, ive bought 5 new ones this year and they are doing well, i just wish they'd come up again the next year and save me money!

They really ought to, I haven't planted any new ones for years. I have two more but this is the best although it is a self seeder!
I wonder why yours don't? Do slugs get at them or even mice? I don't know.

Lovely plant. Mine don't seem to grow very vigorously. I know they are gross feeders & I am on sandy soil, tho' I have fed them occasionally. Can't think what's happening to poor Summerbree's lupins. Must be slugs, as you suggest.

I can't say these are getting vigorous feeding Feverfew, they seeded themselves in a roughish patch that I don't do a lot with! I have put a bit of own compost around them but no feeding. If you want to have prize specimens, I guess they would need some special care! (three meals a day!!!) :)))
