Probably the lack of decent sunlight.

Downright miserable frankly!!

That's horrible!
We've been having such beautiful, unusually sunny weather here for the "May Gray, "June Gloom" season. Typically, the "May Gray", "June Gloom" affects the weather right along the coast more than inland areas; however, we still get our days when it's cloudy all day. I saw no completely cloudy days in May and only one day in June so far. Soon we'll be into the "July Fry", which is the start of the monsoon season.

Oh for a monsoon season...................

Yes "Oh" is the word! We'll see if it's a strong monsoonal flow, and horribly, horribly HOT like last year! (when so many people ended in the emergency rooms throughout San Diego County with heat-related illnesses!)

Not a risk here. More likely the elderly or infirm dying of hypothermia because they can't afford the heating bills.

Meanie, we're just worlds away! I can't imagine dying of hypothermia in spring! :>(
I must come and visit the UK, soon. I haven't been to Europe in a very long time. I'm guessing when I go and visit the UK I need to buy, and bring a big coat! LOL! :>)
