That sounds as if you have placed it really well - you can sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful scent!

It is Wildrose, beautiful perfume, lovely colour too. This is the first year it has flowered, so looking forward to lots more in years to come. It has grown well and is beginning to climb up the side of the seat really well. It is on the left hand side of the arbour and at the back there is another red - Pauls Scarlet and to the right of the arbour is Pauls Lemon, OH is called Paul, bet you hadn't guessed lol :o)

That's beautiful! My 'Dortmund'...also a red climber...has begun to flower as well. It's great this year...the weather isn't ruining everything....yet! My journey to Linda's and back...only 1 and 1/2 hours...was stunning...really made me realise, yet again, what a beautiful country we live in. You can't go very far in Scotland without having your breath taken away! And so far, since the start of June...we have had a 'normal' summer.

It is cloudy and quite dull today, but it is fine for me. I do not like it too hot and it is better for working in the garden. Just cut some grass paths and had a little wander around off to get a shower next. Pleased your roses are coming out for you Karen, it will look a picture when those arches are covered over in colour for you.

yes, those arches are coming along now, thanks Mum. Its sunny here, so I've been out all morning....most of it chatting with a friend. Progress on the Tongue situation. Rachel phoned the school this am and they have a house for her, right in the centre of the village and recently 'done up'. We are going up on Sunday...staying sunday in a hotel. Rachel is visiting the school on Monday and I shall be doing some walking (hopefully to the beach!) and we'll stay over again Monday and travel back on Tuesday. I think it is going to be really wonderful...so excited!

oh that is so good, pleased she has a house to live in. She will love being up in that beautiful place. It is so different to how they have to do things down here. NQT students have to apply for jobs for a year and then if they are lucky they are kept on both Sarah and Sam were lucky to be kept on in their schools in which they did their years qualification work. Not really lucky they both worked their butts off to get to where they are. Both love their jobs and do not think either of them would switch places or careers for anything. Sarah has got a lot more confidence now in her ability and it is showing and she is gaining much more from her work. She took a long while to settle in and get used to it all. Now Sammie has never lacked in confidence and she goes for everything and anything no body messes with that girl. lol. well not for long. lol :O) Hope Rachel settles in quickly. She will love being in control of a classroom when she gets used to it all. Go Rachel, show them what you are made of. If she needs any help she can speak to the girls anytime, they are happy to help her. :O) Tell her not to worry about anything to ask and they will do all they can to help her. :O)
