Serviceberry, Amelanchier alnifolia

Serviceberry, Amelanchier alnifolia

One of two I got last year as a pair, then moved here to the new garden for the spring flower show. The other was winter nourishment for a wandering moose, only a few stubs left exposed to the cold all winter, but its coming back strong, hoping I can eventually have that same matching pair I was hoping for, flanking the Rose tree Prunus triloba, still bare at this point from winter.

Thank you Aleyna. A little sad looking today as these flowers transform into berries. They are mildly sweet and blue so mix well with blueberries to extend them.
