Seems both names are appropriate. I acquired this on my annuals trip, nice 6 foot, even shape and blooming $30! I also picked up Prunus maackii same price and matching to stand together in a gap beneath the old birch in the backyard. This one changes to red midsummer and scarlet fall, while the other stays green and isn't the fullest of trees, but has stunning gold bark year round.
