Like it but wonder just how vigorous it is cannot put up with another climber trying to take over the whole garden.

No problem Brian, not a climber...and not very vigorous. A nice well-behaved shrub!

I don't A. Sometimes one of them is getting dropped from some sites, but this is the correct spelling from the label. It annoys me when people decide that a name is too tricky so they just shorten it without a by your leave. I love the name...it's fun!

I've just triple checked and you can find this plant under at least these three names:

Sinocalycalycanthus (the correct one)
Sinocalycanthus (the shortened version)
Calycanthus (just downright lazy version!)

.....it would be much less confusing if they just stuck to the correct name wouldn't it? I mean, it may be a bit of a tongue twister, but at least we would all know what plant we are referring to!

Hi K I have also checked on the RHS database and it says that Sinocalycanthus is the accepted name for this plant, so even more confusing also the Plant Finder again the RHS spell it that way also!!

Grrrr! Piffle! Lol! I LIKE the extra Caly, and I'm gonna keep it!! (Stomps off with chin held high!) :)))
