A lovely present from Annie who assured me that even I could grow this Penstemon, after I complained that they wouldn't grow for me. She was right. I stuck it in the border on arrival last year, and it's grown beautifully and was fully evergreen, looking fresh all winter long. :))) Thanks Annie! x

Boll! It grew so big, I had to move it, but it didn't bother one bit! It just kept growing!

It's tough for one who looks so delicate.....Bit like me then Lol!!!!

....wish I could say the same...but delicate is something nobody has ever ascribed to me! Halicate....ah, now that's something my OH has been known to mention...I'm not sure about the spelling...but it's a scottish word and I think it means clumsy!

Lol it was a joke Karen! I would call myself petite (as in short) never delicate, in fact small and robust is a better description. I would say my mum is wiry (not sure of the spelling, think it is Irish) but I am like her :o)))
