anyone going to Loch Ness?

anyone going to Loch Ness?

If so, want a book of walks? I've had it for years, but I've had to face the diminishing possibility of me ever being able to get around any of walks even if I can get up there. Message me your address if you want it.

Hi Fran. Have you ever been at Loch Ness?

no, Kat. wanted to, which is why I bought the maps! Not only for Nessie; the largest pod of wild dolhins in the UK is in the Moray Firth. and there's spectacular scenery in those parts - as there is in so much of Scotland.

but it don't seem likely that I'll use it now. If no one in GoY wants it, I'll try Freecycle, or if all else fails, shove it in the bag for the charity shop; doubt if anyone round here will want it either, but you never know.

I Have never been in Scotland and probably will never visit it, too. That place is very nice, I have read about it. There are so many places in the world which human being is not able to visit in his life. But life is not just travelling, it is more about human contacts. What about my plants? Do they grow?

Scotland has fascinating geology, the rocks in some parts is identical to the rocks in the Americas, so at least one part of the country doesn't belong to the UK-European land mass.

I'd love to go to Glen Nevis (where the outdoor bits of Harry Potter were filmed, spectacular scenery) but everywhere's miles from everywhere else - which is true of the rest of the world, lol - and doing it on foot or public transport wouldn't be the easiest way to get around.

Do your plants grow where, Kat??

Lol, Fran. I sent some seeds to you. I wonder, if they grow. They must already.

oh, right! lol I thought that comment was linked to going to Scotland!

I've got one pack in with the Sweet Pea, I haven't cleared space to plant the others yet. They're still quite short, and not many of them, but we've not had much decent weather so far.

I'm getting rid of more than half of my plants and large tubs that I don't have room for; then i can reorganise what's left and *then* I'll have room to try the other seeds

Sweet Pea? I didnĀ“t send you that. I sent you flower seeds.

no, I bought the Sweet Pea, but I put one of your packs of seeds in with them. Got a few of each coming up, but I put a whole pack of each in the two torughs, so there's a lot more not come up yet!

Mein Gott :-)

as no one wants it, I'll stick in the bag for the charity shop.

What a pity.

Ah well, it was worth trying, as GoYers cover the whole country, more chance of someone wanting it than from a charity shop in Bethnal Green Road! Also got some Ordnance Survey maps which I was going to put up, but think I'll just chuck them in the bag as well.
