Nice photo, very affectionate. I love the face of the cat, it is unusual and very beautiful. How did they get the cat? From rescue station?

I think it came from one of my sister's colleagues. My sister used to breed dogs but has no animals at present, and her colleague had been targeting her as a suitable home for some time! Dylan was finding it increasingly hard to live comfortably alongside the colleague's dogs.

He started to turn to leo, lol.

He looks more like a 'big cat' in the wild! Very beautiful but not typical of the Maine Coone's I've seen, which are usually fluffy like Persians.

He's actually got a longer coat than it appears in this photo, although not as fluffy as some.

I've read a story about a Maine Coon cat, but I forget the title!!! (useless me!) From what I remember it was a stray taken in by the author, a man.
Anyway I really enjoyed reading the book and I had never heard of this breed before that.

Dylan looks beautiful & I do love an affectionate cat!

He has settled in beautifully, and is putting on weight (he wasn't very happy in his last home - apparently he didn't fit in very well and was at the bottom of the pecking order). My sister and her family are thrilled to bits with him. You can see him watching the O2 advert:
