I do not know even where they came from. I got some seeds from a fellow gardener years ago but they were double ....I think...mystery of gardening :-)

Yes, poppies are sometimes mystery. I have received two from the UK, which were kindly sent to me by GoYers. I seeded them two and one year ago. No one was successful.
