Thanks both, that flippin' birdbath fountain is rubbish, it's impossible to empty and becomes stagnant. I can't put any chemical in cos the birds would drink it:-)

It's got a pump and led lights too so I can't do anything I need an electrician. Where the power box is has been covered in ivy so nothings working outside. If I switch the outside power on, all the electrics go off in the house lol:-))

Now i know why the "Lady" BA... you really have a very stately garden... :)

Splash out on a "lecky" man Milady, moving water prevents stagnation. It reminds me of the fountain/rose garden at Arundel (well, sort of)

I know I have to get an electrician, but I hate having anyone here, how to find a good one? The last job I had done, I had to get another plumber in to put it right lol, I'm useless at choosing tradesmen, still, I know I'll have to bite the bullet :-))

Tet, when it was working it was filthy and smelly. It's all in one piece so can't empty it:-(

I must lend you Ken, he patiently empties ours, scrubs it clean, empties again then puts in fresh water. Not sure I would do it as often as he does tho. (in fact Im pretty sure I wouldn't!) How about a pressure washer..

Well, I have bought a pressure washer for the paving, and yes, it does help, and I've recently seen cheap pumpy things to suck out the water ......... so electrician it is, always disturbs OH though having someone in ....ah well ...yellow pages anybody?:-)
