I'llrobably take em out in the autumn...it's disappointing..all 9 of them are the same!

Our white one had one beautiful white flower stalk, the next one was the normal purple!!

yes, quite. Whereas in my case it was the nurserymen who thought....aha, let's have a laugh and mislabel all these foxgloves!

They are nearly all finished now, plenty of seedheads on them, would you like some?

That's an interesting thought Karen. I recently read an article that said the problem with making white gardens is that not all white flowers are pure white - some are creamy white and some are a grubby white.

Yes, that is so true Andrew. That's why I avoided Astrantia....not really white...more grubby white!

Astrantia major 'Alba' is white though - I've posted a photo of it last month
