Pretty little flowers of Anemone barbulata

I planted three of these in a shady place, and they have just started to peep out among the alchemilla Mollis. Lovely!

Oh I needn't worry too much then Karen!.Want an evergreen climber for the fence, that is the only thing I'll see behind the shed, when I open the bedroom blinds in the morning, the border will hide most of it

Evergreen climbers are tricky...especially for shade. Hydrangea seemanii, or a nice ivy!

I need some plants for shade, this one' s lovely. Have dug out behind the shed, so the sun only shines at the top of the fence, the actual soil gets no sun at all.
