Idyllic holiday cottage

Just returned from a most restful 2 weeks in South Normandy.......the cottage was so pretty,covered in Roses and Wisteria (which we sadly missed),and set in 3 acres of garden bordered by a stream......the weather was warm and dry......what more could you want!

Where about's in Normandy was this taken, my OH wanted to live in Normandy, because the climate was similar to ours, but not so highly populated.

Thanks I know of the region, but have not visited that area, we have been through some beautiful villages, the floral arrangements have been amazing, and the houses are so pretty, and the food good!!

I am back on GoY at last and this lovely picture caught my eye at once. It certainly is idyllic and you must have loved staying there. Hope the holiday is still with you and not a long distant memory!

No, the family are about to return in even greater numbers next time! We have been to Scilly again and have only just got back. I need to keep some of the relaxation in me from the holiday until everybody arrives in a week or so!
