do you mean what is the flower if you do it is a poppy no idea what else it is called though. They have all done now, seed heads on and still standing tall.

I thought it was, but the vividness of the red threw me.

there is a deeper red one than this one, and a very dark and dusky purple with various shades in between.

Sounds like you're belting them black & blue.
